WEBexpo is currently seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join its internal web team as a UX/UI front-end web designer. The candidate should be capable of creating high quality graphics with the ability of applying their creations in a user-centered design.
The potential candidate should have excellent html, Photoshop and CSS knowledge, and the ability to position and control UI elements as necessary, along with an understanding of how to construct designs flexible enough to display across multiple browsers, screen sizes, platforms and devices. But most importantly, we are looking for a designer that will be able to understand how the users will want to instinctively interact with the UI, and provide them with the ability to perform their tasks intuitively.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Part of a design process involving research, experimentation, and revision.
Incorporate usability testing feedback.
Elicit constructive feedback and capable of interpreting that feedback into design solutions.
Collaborate with others and work well with developers and project management.
Ability to solve all sorts of design challenges with creativity, efficiency and precision; a full stack designer (interaction, usability, graphic design, html, CSS).
Skilled at building original websites and applications focused on user experience.
Demonstrated custom web design skills that show creativity beyond applying third-party templates.
Must be self-directed, confident and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
Strong visual design skills: latest trends, color and typography.
Strong design skills: Photoshop, HTML5, CSS3.
Bring fresh ideas to the collaboration process with designers and in-house creative team.
Maintain, revise and support the main website and all of the company’s internet web pages and forms.
Basic understanding of content management systems/frameworks and concepts.
Experience in creating design.
