In working to bring our customers the kind of upscale, shopping experience previously available only to the non-kosher consumer, we never lose sight of the fact that kashrus is the most crucial differentiator between Pomegranate and its non-kosher counterparts.
In that realm, like in every other facet of our business, we maintain the highest standards.
The entire store is under the hashgacha (supervision)of Kehilla Kashrus. What that means is that, in addition to the supervision agency cited on the product label, every item that appears on our shelves has met the exacting standards of and been approved by Kehilla Kashrus. All our specialty departments, as well as all our prepared foods, are under the dual hashgacha of Kehilla Kashrus and the Tartikov Bais Din.
Our meat is Meal Mart, our chicken is KJ Poultry, Nature’s Best, and Vineland; all items are clearly marked with their respective hechsherim. All our meat and poultry items are approved as well by both the Tartikov Bais Din and Kehilla Kashrus.
